RSI was described for anesthesia, elements are not all evidence based and it can kill sick patients. Hence pt dependent modifications in ICU & this trial, imperfect as it is. High flow humidified nasal oxygen can be safely used for procedural sedation, awake intubation, bronchoscopy and for electroconvulsive therapy

Videolaryngoscopy Assisted Flexible Intubation  (VAFI) is a great airway rescue technique. Very useful in complex advanced airways
