Dr Wendy Teoh , MBBS, FANZCA is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist who works in private practice (Teoh Pte. Ltd) and has worked at the
KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital, Singapore which delivers 12,000+ babies
anually. She is on the teaching faculty of 2 medical schools: Adj Assistant
Professor at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, and Clinical Snr Lecturer, YLL National University of Singapore. She is Chair of the Airway Special Interest Group of the Singapore Society of Anaesthesiologists & a national instructor of the Singapore Advanced Trauma Life Support Course. Wendy is actively involved in anaesthesia research with special interests in airway management of the obstetric airway, videolaryngoscopy & supraglottic airways, ultrasound guided epidurals, TAP blocks & airway imaging. She has multiple peer reviewed indexed publications &, invited presentations worldwide, and regularly instructs at airway workshops & high risk obstetric emergency courses. She is faculty of difficult airway workshops of the EuroAnaesthesia Congress, the American Society of Anaesthesiologists and the Difficult Airway Society, UK. Wendy is also actively involved in charity work and fundraising activities for needy women & children, and is Immediate Past President of the Association of Women’s Doctors of Singapore. When not running after her 2 young kids, she enjoys shopping, wine,and scuba diving.
